Should've known
This light would not last
After many years
Who would keep faith alive?
Yet I believed in your words
I've been a fool
To fall so hard
For such deadly words
Your "I Love You's"
Once hope
Now daggers that killed the life
Of my starry eyes.
Let me say
One last prayer:

Your happiness;
All I ever died for

Our forever
In jeopardy
In turmoil
Dead to our hearts
Forever an illusion
Far beyond your eyes

Let me caress the tombstone
Where my spirit now lies
This love in ashes scattered around
At the graveyard, kneeled down
One last prayer:

Your happiness;
All I ever thought of

A duststorm everyday of our lives
Everyday a doubt in our minds
Would we be strong enough?
'Till the hurricane, when they all came to you
My memory carried away by their storms
Next to you I've died alone
Suffocated and afraid
One last prayer:

Your happiness;
All I ever dreamt of

It's been hard
To give you my all
And see you going back to their shores
Embracing the lies I once believed in
We said forever
You never meant together
My wings in flames
No heaven nor hell
No...
I am not worthy anymore
But hear..
One last prayer:

Your happiness;
All I ever lived for

Happiness:
I've cried
The sins of love
And now
I know
Our forever
Will never come
Just a poem...
No, it has nothing to do with the one I love.

Dark/sad poetry comes when I get dark/sad.
So here you go haha
XD

Hope you all like it.

Enjoy!

I love the repetition and how the ending of it is short and sweet, summing up the entire explanation in a few short lines. :)
