This is the Totoro Halloween Costume I made.

HANDMADE, every stitch.
My very first time making clothes of any kind, I've only made a couple simple pillows and cubes before this.

I'm pleased with how it came out.
It is very fit on top and loose on bottom. XD
I just need to make the leaf hat and it'd be complete! :D

How?
Well ummm, yes you are allowed to ask, but hard to explain since I didnt use any pattern for it.
Basically you make a looong tanktop, make sure to measure the person's chest, neck, waist and hips. Then you make sleeves to the desired length and sew them to the tanktop from the inside.
The bottom part has an elastic, so you just fold the fabric over the elastic and sew it as a pocket so the elastic doesnt get off.
And then you sew the white tummy on top just on the front and glue or stitch the "^".

That's a quick and vague answer but thats the basics of it. If you need more detail let me know, its just really basic. XD It was my very first clothing I did, so its rough lol
